View Full Version : Robalo 17 Bayhunter
I am considering a 17' Robalo Bayhunter. I will be using the boat for both fresh and saltwater fishing. It comes with a 90 hp Mercury with 4 blade ss prop. The specs say that the boat weighs 2200 lbs. Anyone have any experience with this boat or Robalos in general?

I CURRENTLY OWN A ROBALO 19' BAYHUNTER AND THINK ITS AWESOME!I USE IT PRIMARILY IN SALTWATER AROUND THE NORTH SHORE AND CAPE COD AND THE ISLANDS. IT'S RIGGED, SEAWHORTHY AND STEALTHY.I'M POWERED WITH A 125 HP MERC AND SHE'LL DO 50-55 MPH WITH A 5 BLADED S.S. PROP. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PURCHASE. I'VE OWNED ROBALO'S IN THE PAST AND DID ALOT OF SHOPPING PRIOR TO THIS PURCHASE AND NOT ONLY DID I FIND THIS BOAT GREAT FOR INSHORE FLYFISHING, BUT IT'S BUILT LIKE A BOMB SHELTER.HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
