Merc, Verado SuperCharged, 4-stk, 250 hp

I'm looking into a boat upgrate. Anyone have anything to say about the Mercury Verado in 250 hp? It's pushing a Boston Whaler 235 Conquest.

Can't speak on the 250 but I have a 200 that's awesome. Not sure what you have run in the past but the DTS is awesome. Don't think I would run anything else now that I run a Verado.

When I was in Georgia back in April, the fishing guide my sons and I went out with had one on his 22' boat. It was awesome, the digital controls were unbelievable and the whole package just seemed way more advanced than any other power package I had experienced.

I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Of course, I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of the modern DFI 2-stroke and current 4-stroke engines; they are all good.

I have this exact same set-up.......lots of punch even at mid throttle, unbelievably smooth and precise steering, and quiet as a mouse.
