It so easy to shop on the Internet especially comparing prices. It's the best. Saves time and travel. Taxes too!

I did find one important fact while shopping for a new camera on line. I too asked how a camera could be sold so far below price point? With some prodding and asking plenty of questions this is what I was told.

Cannon cameras are all made overseas and imported to the US. We are a major market. Cameras are detail in English and have universal symbolism printed on the body face. All the rest of the cameras are made for international use. English is replaced with a generic alphabet that suits their needs. Markings are not in English.

Like the rep said, It is not going to effect the photo quality? But it will hinder the operator. This are the cameras you might be buying. Finally he said if you want the American model, the price went up $100.00 dollars. But I did get a three year warrantee. Now the price was on par with all the rest. Let the buyer be ware!
