We have a 23 seacraft and are looking into getting a T-Top for it. Is the only option to build one or are there places to find a good used one? And advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Anything is possible, such as finding someone redoing their 23' and planning on using a different or new t-top. However, even within the SeaCraft line there are so many different consoles (I've seen at least three different FACTORY consoles on Potter era SC 23's) that even finding another 23' owner that is parting with his/her t-top may not do much good.

If you have the dimensions of your console handy, you could give Marine Connection Liquidators a call in Ft. Pierce (FL) and see what they have but getting it from there to wherever you are may cost more than having a new one custom made for your boat.

When I redid my SeaCraft ("mark's 20'CC" in the gallery section of classicseacraft.com) I tossed my original console and sold the orginal t-top for $250. This was to another person with a SeaCraft from the same year model. He carted it back to his home state only to find that it didn't fit just right even though we had the same model/year boat.

If you plan to keep your boat for the long term it may be well just to get a top made. There are tower/top builders to suit just about any budget and some of the cheaper builders can do a top for you for little more than a used one would run. I see ads in the back of Boattrader frequently for such companies.

I have a good buddy that has a 2003 23' Seacraft that had th t top partially damaged during transport, but I bet could be fixed. He had insurance $$ cover a new one, and I think he was willing to sell the old one cheap. It is located in Harwichport, MA. I will let him know you are on the hunt, he posts here too.

PS- I have a 2004 23' Seacraft that I love! Just got it this year and fish out of Portsmouth, NH. This pic was from First Light when we met up and hung out for a few while during a tuna day. Wifey taking a break on the bow.
