For sale is 1 SeaStar Hydraulic Helm model # HH5271 (1.7) which was taken out of my Scout Abaco this weekend and was used for 1 season (6 months) or 158 hours. There is no pitting on the helm and no signs of wear and tear. When the unit was removed the (2) 90 degree elbows which were installed at the Scout factory were not removed. There are no leaks and it works perfectly.
The unit was replaced with a tilt unit at the same time my auto pilot was being installed. Unit includes instructions, nut, key and an assortment of factory supplied fittings. I was going to keep it as a spare but I know it will sit in my basement forever.
Asking price is $325 plus shipping. Will consider as partial trade on a radar unit.
