I've had a Simrad CX44 sounder/gps/radar and like it. It uses C-Map for GPS and the sounder has performed solidly. I like the multi-function units and would probably say sounder function is most important. Buying a new boat and considering the Raymarine DSM 300 and E120. Did some research have seen generally positive reviews although some people have had some technical/installation issues. Curious if anyone who is familiar with both of these units could offer views as to whether to stick with the Simrad or go with the DSM.

One post is probably enough this is a pretty active board.

I would stick with the Simrad. After using Raymarine and Furuno and Garmin I went back to Simrad. I have the CX54 15" NavStation. GPS,4KW Radar, AP 26 Autopilot, 1000w 50/200 bronze thru hull.
