I have a honda and I was wondering about using Mobil1 or should I stick to regular oil? It has the same ratings on the oil as stated in my manual. Thanks

It won't hurt, but it's probably overkill. FWIW, every time I buy an oil filter for my Honda 130, the owner/mechanic tells me to use Castrol GTX.
Funny thing is that's what I normally used.

Thanks Roger,
I was going to use walmart full synthetic,it`s cheaper and my Uncle who builds jet engines for Pratt&whittney says they tested the walmart brand and it`s almost as good as Mobil1!

Is this a automotive oil?Or is for marine use also, reason why Im asking is because the parts guy at the Yamaha dealer said I should use a oil with corrision inhibitors like the yamaha oil.I would think all oil has this additive.
