Garmin 492Color GPS/Chart Plotter

I am considering the purchase of the Garmin 492color GPS/chartplotter. Anyone have experience with this particular garmin product. I woul love to hear what your experience has been with it before I let go of $500. Thanks, Challis March 5, 2007 --126-3-

I just picked one up @ west marine for 439.00 with dual freq. transom mount transducer included. Going to hook it up and play with it a bit. Will let you know what I think.
