T-ToP Installation On An Early 80's Boat.

I have a 23.5 Robalo Ctr. Console from 1979-1980 era that currently has a T-Top (more like a sunshade) that is secured thru the console to the deck. These new T-Tops are alot more substantial then this one and wonder if anyone can give me some pointers on installation. My ultimate desire is to install a new console that also has the T-Top with it as shown in the below below

Any help or pointers?
