Motorguide is no longer produceing the analog 12/24V trolling motors for Lenco. They now make a digital version which can not be retrofitted to the old system. The new system is about $1600.00. Lenco will not rebuild older motors either. I was told today that they [Lenco] have about 100 MG24V-82 motors in stock at present. The rest of the older system parts should be in stock for some time. It might be a wise move to buy an extra motor or two to keep in stock for future use. Motors can be purchased through Southern Anglers 772-223-1300. The new system uses a foot pedal instead of switches which I questioned for saltwater use but was told that they would not discuss the meritts of why the change. They also have a remote control for the new system but you would not be able to use both motors in reverse at the same time. By the way Lenco will no longer offer the two year warrentee on the older motors or system.
