115 hp inline six mercury for sale

I just repowered the boat with a 140hp Johnson (i needed more power) and am looking to sell old reliable. It is 1985 115hp inline six, 25" lower unit with about 500hrs on it. Runs good, everything works trim/tilt etc. rebuilt the carbs just last year. Always well maintained. Comes with prop, harness and top mount controls (also just a year old). Motor currently located in plymouth. $800.00 or best offer.

Thanks for your help.. But I just bought one yesterday.. It's a 140 horse Evinrude V-4, 20" shaft, power tilt for $800 bucks. Runs great! He ran it for me before taking it off his boat. Should be plenty of power for my 16 foot ski boat, huh?

The one I was getting rid of was a 25" leg anyway so it would've been to long...but you'll find that your new engine is quite a bit heavier than the 115 inline six. That 140 is better on gas if it is the VRO as well as being more powerful. If it's the loop charged you wouldn't have noticed any GPH differences...congrats on your buy & good luck.
