How practical is a flats boat in New England - Plymouth/Cape area

It all depends on what your going to do with it. When it gets sloppy it wont be a very comfotable boat when its flat ass calm it will go anywhere you want. There are alot of hybrid boats on the market, That have a flats type interior and a modified V hull. I just got a sea pro sv1700 and its a real nice cross between a bay and a flats boat it comes in 15 17 19 21 & 23 foot models. I think action craft makes a nice one too.
