I have a 22' Mako and I am looking to fit it with a t-top. Not many local options here in Vermont. Any suggestions on good fabricator in New England or used top for sale would be appreciated.

I fish a 22' Mako as well, with a factory rigged T-top. If you are willing to consider trailering to the Newburyport, Ma. area I'd call Hudson's Outboard, the Mako dealer in Salisbury, Ma. ( Talk with Ken-service manager, great guy ). They work with a number of fabricators that do custom installs. I think Wilson Welding is highly regarded by the local boat guys.

J&J fabricators in Falmouth Mass makes the nicest tops I have seen. They don't come cheap but they are rock solid and well designed.

Just bought one from Atlantic Towers out of New Jersey. They will ship to your house or a business. Check out their web site. Price is the best I have seen for brand new.

I stopped by Saco Bay Tackle The other day and right behind them is Redman Marine. They fabricate custom rails, outriggers, and t tops. Quality was excellent. They had samples of work outside the shop that was ready to be installed. Only one hitch, they only fabricate in aluminum. Give them a visit; www.redmanmarinefabricators.com
