Anyone have feedback on these boats, I'm looking at the 22 ft as an swap to my Prosports 18' Flats boat. Pathfinder looks like it may be a bit more family friendly. Haven't seen it live yet, planning on checking it out this weekend. Thanks!

They appear to be very nice boats. The only problem I had was the one I was looking at had a handrail behind the cushion on the leaning post. This handrail cut down significantly on the amount of room behind the leaning to the transom and would have been made worse by the additon of a poling platform. it also was right at hip height and would probably be a real pain to get around. The one I was looking at was the 1810V, not the 22 though.

Jamie Boyle (Vineyard guide) just took dellivery last week of his new 22. He may be able to help.

I test drove the 22 last year and it was a real sweet boat. The hull rode like it was attached to rails. The only problem was that there is no under gunnel rod holders for fly rods. Other then that, I really liked the boat. I ended up purchasing a used Parker 18 based on my budget.

I bought an 1810v last fall. I ran it twice before wrapping it up for the winter and couldn't resist giving it another run last weekend. Definitely roomy, I haven't noticed any mobility problems. There's plenty of room to get around the console and I haven't really noticed Steve's observation about the leaning post. Time will tell. I do have a poling platform, same one on a Hewes RedFisher, so it doesn't take up any of the rear casting deck.

The hull is extremely solid and rides well in a chop. I would definitely suggest trim tabs. Relative to a flats boat I also like the full console which gives you and a guest little more shelter from the elements. - George
